Istanbul Sightseeing This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Istanbul. Drive by Taksim Square, the hippodrome and Galata Tower. You’ll also visit the famous Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a former patriarchal basilica, then a mosque and now a museum that is one of the world’s best surviving examples of Byzantine architecture. Then this evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner during which you’ll be entertained by a Turkish belly dancing performance.

Istanbul, Freedom of Choice Touring This morning after breakfast, you have the opportunity to choose your touring activity in Istanbul thanks to our included Freedom of Choice Touring concept. You may choose to embark on a tour of Topkapi Palace, the official and primary residence of the Ottoman Sultans from 1465 to 1853. Alternatively, relax with a traditional Turkish bath experience and massage. Or you may like to visit the impressive Rüstem Pasha Mosque then wander around the bustling Spice Bazaar, before indulging in lunch at the well-known Orient Express railway restaurant.
Bx1 Day 4 Sat. April 24 . Istanbul, Anzac Cove, Gallipoli Leave Istanbul early this morning and travel via Tekirdag to the Gallipoli Peninsula. Arrive in Gelibolu and visit the Gelibolu War Museum then enjoy lunch in the town centre. Continue to the national park area for a guided sightseeing tour of the war memorials, including Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair and 57th cemetery. Later, you’ll head to Anzac Cove to settle in for the Dawn Service. Here, you will be accommodated in a secure outdoor area featuring entertainment such as live broadcasting from Australia and New Zealand, musical performances as well as interviews. Our experienced guides will accompany you throughout the evening. Stay: Gallipoli Peninsula facilities are extremely limited and crowds here will be large. For those who wish, take the opportunity to walk to Lone Pine for the Australian service. Please note that this can be a challenging 2.5 kilometre walk approximately one hour on both flat and uphill pathways. Should you prefer, you will be able to view the Australian service from your position in Anzac Cove via the telecast on the big screen. Afterwards, regather and board your coach this afternoon for the ferry crossing and journey to Assos. On arrival, check in to your hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
